LeBron James matches Jordan and Bryant in an elite record after a big performance against the Cavaliers

The LA Lakers have been in sublime form and they have carried from where they had left in the previous season. Lakers have won 14 matches out of the 18 they have played in the ongoing season and they are currently a formidable unit. Interestingly, the Lakers have not lost a single match in the ongoing season whenever they have played away from home.

The Lakers are on a roll and they will look to continue the good show. Not surprisingly, their talisman LeBron James has played at the top of his game and he has also got support from Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder.

James was at his absolute best against his former franchise Cleveland Cavaliers as the Lakers won by 115-108. The 36-year-old top-scored for the Lakers with a whopping 46 points and also provided six assists on Tuesday.

In fact, this is the 12th time out of the 18 matches in which LeBron James has top-scored for his team. After a big performance of 46 points, James has joined the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in an elite record.

He tied with former LA Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Most points in a game by a player aged 36 or older:

60 — Kobe Bryant

51 — Michael Jordan

51 — Jamal Crawford

46 — Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

46 — LeBron James tonight.

James scored with an efficiency of 19-26 from the field during his 38 minutes of game time. The small forward is averaging 25.3 points per game this season and he would look to continue his good form. The Lakers will next face the Philadelphia 76ers on 28th January.
