The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of the best NBA players in the game. The Lakers took a 2-1 lead after beating the Portland Trail Blazers by 116-108, with LeBron James top-scoring with 38 points in the game. James also scored 12 rebounds and eight assists in the match. Thus, the Lakers made a roaring comeback after an embarrassing loss in the first game.
The superstar player has been in class form in the recent past. After coming up with a 38-point performance in the third match of the series, James has stepped up to number three in the list of highest three-pointers in the NBA playoffs history.
James scored four three-points in the match against the Trail Blazers, thus he has taken his tally of three-pointers to 375 in the NBA playoffs history. Consequently, James has gone past Warriors’ Klay Thompson who had scored 374 three pointers in the NBA playoffs.
In fact, the King is now 10 three-pointers away from Ray Allen, who sits at the second place. Hence, it is a matter of time before James can go on to take the second place. Stephen Curry is at the top of the tree as he has scored a mammoth 470 three-pointers in his illustrious career.
Furthermore, James became the second oldest player in NBA playoff history to record 35-point and 10 rebounds in a series. James replaced Michael Jordan from the second place and he is now second to Karl Malone.
On the other hand, LA Lakers superstar Anthony Davis supported LeBron James in the match. Davis scored a total of 29 points and also scored eight assists and 11 rebounds in the match. Meanwhile, Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard scored 34 points but his efforts went in vain.
The LA Lakers will take on Portland Trail Blazers in the fourth match of the series on Tuesday.
