Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan vs India, Super Fours – Stats Preview

Pakistan will take on India in their second game of the Super Fours of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Sunday. The Men in Green registered a comprehensive win of seven wickets against Bangladesh on Wednesday and they will be looking to continue their good show against the arch-rivals.

India, on the other hand, was sloppy against Nepal as they didn’t take their chances in the field. India had lacked intent and they will need to pull up their socks against a formidable Pakistan outfit. However, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill got the runs against depleted Nepal and it must have done them a world of good after mundane performances against Pakistan.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma needs 78 runs to reach the milestone of 10000 runs in the ODI format and he will become the sixth Indian batter after Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, and MS Dhoni to get to the feat.

India’s talisman Virat Kohli needs 98 runs to get to the landmark of 13000 ODI runs and he will become the second Indian batter after Sachin Tendulkar to get to the record.

Ravindra Jadeja needs three more wickets to complete 200 scalps in the ODI format.

KL Rahul, who is close to full fitness, needs another 14 runs to complete 2000 runs in ODI cricket.

Mohammed Siraj needs four more wickets to complete 50 scalps in the 50-over version.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam needs 130 runs to complete 5500 runs in ODI cricket.

Imam-ul-Haq requires 33 runs to get the milestone of 3000 runs in the 50-overs form.

Iftikhar Ahmed needs 98 runs to complete 500 runs in the ODI version.
