Australia will take on India in the second Test match of the Border-Gavaskar series at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide in the pink-ball game. India was skittled out for a paltry score of 36 runs on the 2020-21 tour in the pink-ball game at the same venue and since then they haven’t lost a Test on the Australian soil.
India came up with a sensational performance in the opening Test of the series with all the players contributing to the win. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a majestic knock of 161 runs whereas KL Rahul returned with scores of 26 and 77. Furthermore, Virat Kohli got back amongst the runs as he scored an unbeaten 100, which are ominous sign for Australia.
Moreover, Jasprit Bumrah led from the front as he bagged 8-72 in the match to deliver the goods for the visitors.
On the other hand, Australia need to come up with an improved batting show as they were skittled out for 104 and 238 at Perth.

Ravichandran Ashwin, who wasn’t part of the opening Test, needs 26 runs to reach the 3500-run mark in the red-ball version.
Usman Khawaja needs 37 runs to complete 5500 runs in Test cricket and needs seven fours to complete 600 boundaries.
Shubman Gill needs two fours to complete 200 boundaries in the red-ball version.
Travis Head needs four fours to complete 400 boundaries in Test cricket.
Mitchell Starc needs four sixes to complete 50 maximums in the Test format.
