India will square off against Australia in the fourth T20I at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur on Friday. Australia had made a resounding comeback in the series after winning the third game in a thrilling fashion by five wickets.
The visitors were down and out in the previous game but they were able to turn the tables after a whirlwind knock from Glenn Maxwell, who smashed 104 runs off just 48 balls.
But, Indian bowlers were not on the money and thus they had to pay the heavy price against an in-form and dangerous Maxwell.
However, Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a magnificent knock of 123 runs, becoming the first Indian batter to score a century in the T20I format against Australia but his heroics went in vain.
