India vs England 2024, 3rd Test – Stats Preview

India will take on England in the third Test match at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot from Thursday onwards. The hosts won the second Test match at Vizag by 106 runs to level the series 1-1 after losing the opening game by 28 runs.

While Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill delivered in the second Test, the rest of the Indian batters will need to come up with more consistent performances.

On the other hand, England’s batters also need to convert their starts into substantial scores. Zak Crawley scored fifties in both innings at Vizag but failed to get a big score for the team. The visitors need to come up with a more collective batting performance.

England’s spearhead James Anderson requires five more wickets to become the first fast bowler to reach the mountain of 700 wickets. Anderson will become the third bowler after Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne to breach the landmark.
