Mumbai Indians will face Punjab Kings in the 23rd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Wednesday.
The five-time champions are struggling to find any kind of impetus and they will be looking to register their first win of the season against PBKS.
Punjab, on the other hand, has lost two and won as many to get off to a mixed start. The Mohali-based franchise should have won their previous game but Rahul Tewatia had pulled a rabbit out of the hat.
We take a look at Picks for the match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. We will look at head-to-head records, stats, and players to look out for in the upcoming match.
Mumbai Indians will want to come up with a collective effort as they have looked toothless with both bat and ball. Their top-order is struggling to get going, which is putting a lot of pressure on their middle-order. Furthermore, their bowling is also lacking the spark this season so far.
Punjab Kings have done a decent job so far but they would want to win the crucial stages of the game, which they couldn’t do in their last game. Liam Livingstone has been superb with the bat but their top-order is also a worry.
