Bangladesh talisman all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has picked his all-time Indian Premier League XI in which he selected MS Dhoni as the leader of the side.
Rohit Sharma and David Warner are the openers of the team for Hasan as both have terrific records in the IPL.
Virat Kohli, who is the highest run-getter in the IPL, bats at number three whereas Suresh Raina takes the no. 4 position in the batting order. MS Dhoni will bat at number five and will also keep wickets in Hasan’s all-time XI side.
KL Rahul takes the number six position whereas Ben Stokes, who doesn’t have a great record in the IPL, also makes the cut into Bangladesh’s all-rounder team. Ravindra Jadeja is the second all-rounder of the team for Hasan.
Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are picked as the three fast bowlers by the all-rounder. Malinga is the highest wicket-taker in the IPL whereas Bumrah and Kumar are well known for their accurate bowling in the death overs.
Thus, there was no place for players like AB de Villiers, Kieron Pollard, and Chris Gayle in Shakib Al Hasan’s team.

On the other hand, Shakib Al Hasan, who will be seen playing for KKR, in the second phase of the IPL reckons the tournament will help everyone before the T20 World Cup.
Hasan told ESPN Cricinfo, “I am hopeful that the IPL will help everyone. We will be spending time in those conditions, play matches too. Mustafiz (Mustafizur Rahman) and I can share the experience with the rest of the team. We will understand the other players’ mindset, what they are thinking about the World Cup, and then report it back to our players.”
