IPL 2022: Picks for the match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad

Delhi Capitals will go head to head against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 50th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday. Both of these teams had lost their respective previous matches and will look to bounce back stronger.

Thus, both teams will be determined to improve their record in the ongoing season. We take a look at Picks for the match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. We will look at head-to-head records, stats, and players to look out for in the upcoming match.

Current form for SRH: L L W W W

SRH will be a tad disappointed to lose their previous two matches and they will be looking to make a solid return. SRH’s fast bowling battery has been right on the money throughout the season but they had an off-day at the office against reigning champions CSK in their previous match.

Current form for DC: L W L W L

Delhi Capitals have been inconsistent throughout the season as they have failed to come up with a collective effort. Except for Kuldeep Yadav, their bowlers need to be more consistent. The lion’s share of the scoring has been done by their top-order and their middle-order needs to come to the party. David Warner will be determined to prove his mettle against his former team, which reportedly didn’t treat him well in the last season.

Head to Head: Matches: 20, Won by DC: 9, Won by SRH: 11.

SRH has a slight head-to-head advantage against DC.

Delhi Capitals Probable Playing XI: Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (c and wk), Lalit Yadav, Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Khaleel Ahmed.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Probable XI: Rahul Tripathi, Abhishek Sharma, Kane Williamson (c), Nicholas Pooran (wk), Aiden Markram, Shashank Singh, J Suchith, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik.

Players to watch out for: David Warner, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Mustafizur Rahman, Axar Patel, and Rovman Powell will hold the key for DC.

Kane Williamson, Washington Sundar, Aiden Markram, T Natarajan, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will hold the key for SRH.
