The inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals will face the reigning champions Chennai Super Kings in the 68th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on Friday. RR will need to win against CSK to finish among the top two teams whereas the defending champions are already knocked out of the tournament.
Rajasthan Royals had won their previous match against Lucknow Super Giants by 24 runs and they will look to continue the good show. RR had come up with a collective effort against LSG and they have ticked the right boxes as a unit.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, and Sanju Samson had all contributed to the team’s total whereas Trent Boult was superb with the new ball against LSG.
RR will want to finish their league stage campaign on a high so that they play the first qualifier against Gujarat Titans.
On the other hand, it has been a disappointing season for Chennai Super Kings. The MS Dhoni-led team lost against Gujarat Titans by seven wickets and they could not come up with a good batting effort as they managed only 133 runs on the board.
Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorites against Chennai Super Kings.
