IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings, Final – Stats Preview

The defending champions Gujarat Titans will square off against four-time champions Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad in the IPL 2023 final on Sunday. GT and CSK have been the two most consistent teams of IPL 2023 and it should be a thrilling final between two formidable units.

Both teams have won one match against each other earlier in the season and it will be interesting to note which team will have the final laugh. Ruturaj Gaikwad played a fine knock of 60 runs against GT in the first qualifier and he will look to carry a good show.

On the other hand, Shubman Gill has been in fantastic form as he scored his third IPL century when he smashed 129 runs against MI in the second qualifier. Gill is currently the leading run-getter with 851 runs in the tournament. Furthermore, Mohit Sharma bagged a five-wicket haul for GT against MI.

Ravindra Jadeja needs two more sixes to complete 100 sixes in the competition. The left-hander requires eight more fours to complete 200 fours in the IPL.

MS Dhoni has smashed 349 boundaries in the IPL and needs one more four to complete 350. Dhoni has also smashed 239 sixes in the tournament.

Ajinkya Rahane has smashed 94 sixes in the IPL and he needs another six maximums in the tournament to get to 100 sixes. Rahane has also scored 4373 runs in the IPL and needs another 127 runs to get to the 4500-run mark.

Moeen Ali needs a dozen fours to complete 100 boundaries in the IPL.

Vijay Shankar needs seven more sixes to reach the landmark of 50 sixes. 

Rahul Tewatia has scored 42 sixes in the IPL and he needs another eight sixes to complete 50 sixes in the tournament. Tewatia has scored 825 runs in the IPL.

David Miller has scored 187 fours in the IPL and needs 13 more fours to complete 200 boundaries in the competition.

Rashid Khan needs 62 runs to complete 500 runs in the IPL.
