IPL 2023: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals – Dafanews Match Preview

Kolkata Knight Riders will host Rajasthan Royals in the 56th match of the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Thursday. RR is in fifth place with five wins in 11 matches whereas KKR is also in the same boat with the same number of wins in as many matches.

Rajasthan Royals’ campaign has gone south after a good start to the season. The Sanju Samson-led team has managed a solitary win in their last six matches and they will need to bounce back stronger in the upcoming matches. RR bowlers could not hold their nerves against SRH in the last game and it led to their downfall.

Current form for KKR: W W L W L

Kolkata Knight Riders have won three out of their last five matches and they will be looking to carry the good show in the upcoming matches. Andre Russell played a match-winning knock against PBKS in the previous match and the all-rounder will hold the key for KKR.

Head to Head: Matches: 27, Won by KKR: 14, Won by RR: 12, Abandoned: 1.

KKR holds a slight advantage in the H2H battle against RR.

Players to look out for: Jos Buttler (wk), Sanju Samson, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Yuzvendra Chahal will hold the key for RR.
