Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Rajasthan Royals in the 56th match of the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Thursday. It will be a crucial match for both of these teams as they have managed five wins in the 11 matches they have played.
While RR has struggled in the recent past, winning a solitary contest in the last six matches, KKR has won three out of their last five matches. RR should have won their previous match against SRH as they had 41 runs in the bank for the last two overs but Sandeep Sharma and Kuldip Yadav could not deliver.
On the other hand, Andre Russell was the star of the show in his KKR’s previous win against Punjab Kings as he scored 42 runs from 23 balls.
