Royal Challengers Bangalore will host Kolkata Knight Riders in the 36th match of the season at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Wednesday. When these two teams met earlier in the season, it was a one-sided contest as KKR had routed RCB by 81 runs.
As we are now at the halfway stage of the tournament, RCB is currently in fifth place with four wins in seven matches. On the other hand, KKR also registered an emphatic win against GT after their win against RCB earlier in the season.
However, since then things have gone south for the Nitish Rana-led team as they have lost their last four matches. Thus, KKR will be desperate for a win and they will be looking to replicate the same performance against RCB.
