IPL 2024: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings – Stats Preview

Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Punjab Kings in the 42nd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Friday. KKR have managed five wins in seven games whereas PBKS are staring at the barrel of the gun with only two victories in eight games.

KKR won their previous match against RCB by one run after Andre Russell and Sunil Narine came up with fine bowling performances. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, could only manage 142 runs in the last game against GT and they will want their batters to step up against KKR.

PBKS vice-captain Jitesh Sharma needs nine more sixes to complete 50 maximums in the lucrative tournament.

Jonny Bairstow needs five boundaries to reach 150 fours in the tournament.

Venkatesh Iyer needs four more sixes to complete 50 sixes in the IPL. The left-hander also requires five more fours to complete 100 boundaries in the tournament.

Rinku Singh needs six more sixes to complete 50 sixes in the tournament.

KKR captain Shreyas Iyer needs 34 runs to reach the 3000-run mark in the tournament.

Sunil Narine needs eight fours to complete 150 boundaries in the tournament.
