The two most consistent teams of IPL 2024 – Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals – will take on each other at the iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Tuesday. While RR has won five out of their six matches, KKR has won four out of their five games.
Meanwhile, KKR has won both of their matches at home in the ongoing season and they will look to keep up the good show against in-form RR. The Shreyas Iyer-led team registered a convincing win of eight wickets against Lucknow Super Giants in the last game.
Mitchell Starc returned with impressive figures of 3-28 whereas Phillip Salt scored a majestic knock of 89 runs off just 47 balls against LSG.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals’ last game against Punjab Kings went down to the wire. RR should have chased down 148 runs more convincingly but they got over the line after Shimron Hetmyer scored a fine cameo of 10-ball 27.
Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 39 runs in the last game and he will be hungry to get a big score for RR, which he hasn’t done so far in the tournament.
Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorites against Kolkata Knight Riders.
