Mumbai Indians will host Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 25th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday. Both of these teams have got off to a slow start in the season and they will be determined to pick up the momentum.
It will be a clash of two heavy batting units. MI has already breached the 230-run mark on two occasions in the tournament and they will hope to carry the same form against RCB bowlers, who have looked insipid.
RCB, on the other hand, will want to come up with a collective batting show as Virat Kohli has done the lion’s share of the scoring for them.
Stats Preview:
Rajat Patidar needs 46 runs to complete 500 runs in the IPL.
Virat Kohli needs four sixes to become the fourth batter after Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma, and AB de Villiers to hit 250 or more sixes in the IPL.
Faf du Plessis requires two more sixes to reach 150 maximums in the tournament.
Cameron Green needs four fours to complete 50 fours in the tournament.
Dinesh Karthik needs another five fours and fours sixes to reach the milestone of 450 fours and 150 maximums respectively.
Tilak Varma requires two sixes to complete 50 maximums in the tournament.
Shreyas Gopal needs one more wicket to complete 50 wickets in the tournament.
Suryakumar Yadav needs one more boundary to complete 350 fours in the IPL.
