Delhi Capitals will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 10th match of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Delhi Capitals won their opening match of the season against Lucknow Super Giants after Ashutosh Sharma played a magnum opus knock of 66 runs off just 31 balls.
On the other hand, the Orange Army got off to a winning start against Rajasthan Royals but suffered a five-wicket loss against Lucknow Super Giants on Thursday.
The Capitals were down and out against LSG in their opener however Vipraj Nigam and Ashutosh Sharma were able to get them across the line. DC would want to come up with an improved batting performance as their top-order struggled against LSG. Furthermore, they would want a better show from their fast bowlers.
Delhi will receive a boost as KL Rahul will join the squad after becoming a father for the first time.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad could only manage 190 runs on a batting paradise against LSG and their batters would look to come up with a collective effort. The middle order could not get going against LSG as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
