IPL 2025: Punjab Kings vs Chennai Super Kings – Match Preview

Punjab Kings will lock horns against Chennai Super Kings in the 22nd match of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh on Tuesday. While PBKS have won two out of their three matches in the tournament, CSK is struggling in the bottom half of the points table with a solitary win in four games.

CSK have lost their last three games after winning their opener against MI and they would look to get back on the winning track. The Men in Yellow have struggled with the bat with inconsistent performances from their top order. The middle order also hasn’t been able to deliver consistently, which has left the lower order to do much more.

The CSK spin trio of Noor Ahmad, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin have been decent but their pace battery has struggled.

On the other hand, PBKS suffered a 50-run loss in their previous match against Rajasthan Royals. The team could not deliver with the bat as they managed only 155 runs and they would look to come up with an improved performance.

Head to Head: Matches: 30, Won by CSK: 16, Won by PBKS: 14.
