Pakistan will lock horns against England in the third Test match, which will be played at the National Stadium, Karachi from Saturday onwards. England has already taken an impregnable lead of 2-0 in the series and the visitors would want to carry the good show.
Pakistan, on the other hand, has been knocked out of the World Test championship final race. However, they will play for pride in the third game of the series.
England has adopted an aggressive style of batting and they have been able to reap rewards for the same. Harry Brook had scored a fine hundred in the second innings of the second Test match whereas Mark Wood had turned the game on its head on the fourth day’s play with the double strikes of Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Nawaz.
Meanwhile, Pakistan was in the dominating position in the first innings of the second Test but they collapsed like a pack of cards as they lost their last seven wickets in a jiffy. Thus, the Babar Azam-led would want to come up with a collective show and make the most of their home conditions.
Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the third Test match due to a shoulder injury.
