The defending champions Multan Sultans will lock horns against Islamabad United at the National Stadium, Karachi on Tuesday. Sultans have got off to a perfect start in the ongoing PSL 2022 as they have won all of their first three matches and sit atop in the standings with six points.
The Mohammad Rizwan-led team won their previous match against Quetta Gladiators by six runs and they will look to continue their winning impetus. Shan Masood had scored a fine knock of 88 runs while David Willey, Khushdil Shah, and Imran Tahir scalped three wickets each.
On the other hand, Islamabad United had won their opening match of the season against Peshawar Zalmi convincingly by nine wickets. Paul Stirling and Alex Hales had scored fine fifties to help their team chase down 169 runs.
Ergo, both of these teams are yet to be defeated in the tournament and they will look to continue their good show.
