Islamabad United will lock horns against Multan Sultans in the 24th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2023 at the Pindi Club Stadium, Rawalpindi. ISU has already qualified for the playoff stages after five wins in seven matches and the Shadab Khan-led is currently in second place in the points table with 10 points.
On the other hand, Multan Sultans had won four games on the bounce but they veered off the track in their last two matches as they suffered losses against Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars.
Ergo, the Mohammad Rizwan-led team will want to get back to winning ways and confirm their berth in the last four of the tournament.
Sultans lost their previous match against LHQ by 21 runs after they could not manage to chase down 181 runs.
Meanwhile, ISU won their previous game against Quetta Gladiators by two wickets in a thrilling contest after an unbeaten knock of 31-ball 39 from Faheem Ashraf.
When these two teams had clashed earlier in the season, Multan Sultans had won comprehensively by 52 runs.
Match Prediction: Multan Sultans will enter the contest as favorites against Islamabad United.
