Lahore Qalandars will face Peshawar Zalmi in the 15th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Sunday. Lahore Qalandars have won two out of the three matches they have played and they are currently in third place in the standings.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi has managed two wins and as many losses in the four games they have played. The Babar Azam-led team lost their previous game against Islamabad United by six wickets.
PSZ could only post 156-8 despite their openers – Mohammad Haris and Babar Azam – giving them a blistering start. Thus, their middle order needs to step up against Lahore Qalandars.
Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars won their previous match against Quetta Gladiators by a huge margin of 63 runs after their skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi led from the front as he scalped three wickets. Furthermore, almost all the batters had contributed for LHQ. Ergo, LHQ will look to continue the good show against Peshawar Zalmi.
Match Prediction: Lahore Qalandars will enter the contest as slight favorites against Peshawar Zalmi.
