Multan Sultans will face Peshawar Zalmi in the fifth match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2023 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan on Friday. Multan Sultans had won their previous match against Quetta Gladiators convincingly by nine wickets and they will look to continue the winning impetus.
Peshawar Zalmi had won their opening game of the season against Karachi Kings by two runs in a thrilling contest.
Meanwhile, the Mohammad Rizwan-led team had come up with a fine bowling display against Quetta Gladiators as they had skittled out the opposition at 110 after Ihsanullah picked up a five-wicket haul.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Babar Azam had led from the front in the opening game as he scored a fine fifty. However, the match-winning innings was played by Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who scored a blistering knock of 92 runs.
The Sultans have won one and lost one so far whereas Zalmi has won their only contest in the league.
