Ahmedabad Defenders will lock horns against Bengaluru Torpedoes in the 15th match of the ongoing Prime Volleyball League 2022 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Thursday.
Ahmedabad Defenders have got off to a dream start in the tournament as they have won all of their three matches.
Thus, they are currently in third place in the standings with six points under their bag. On the other hand, Bengaluru Torpedoes have played four matches out of which they have won two matches and lost as many. Ergo, they are in the fourth position in the points table with four points under their belt.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru Torpedoes lost their previous match against Calicut Heroes by 4-1 on Monday and they will look to return back to winning ways.
On the other hand, Ahmedabad Defenders won their previous match Hyderabad Black Hawks by 4-1 on Thursday. Ergo, the Defenders will aim to continue their good form in the tournament.
Defenders captain Muthusamy said before the game, “We’ve been playing really well and recorded three wins out of three matches. The players are coordinating really well on the court. That’s been our main strength. We also have a good all-round team and we have all our bases covered. All the departments have contributed to our victories and we have played as a cohesive unit. Our goal at the moment is to reach the Final and we are working well towards that.”
Prediction: Ahmedabad Defenders will be favorites against Bengaluru Torpedoes given their current form.
