Paarl Royals will lock horns against Durban Super Giants in the 10th match of the ongoing SA20 2023 at Boland Park, Paarl on Tuesday. Paarl Royals have managed a solitary win in the three matches they have played whereas Durban Super Giants have won two out of the three games they have played.
Durban Super Giants had come out with flying colors when they had last met Paarl Royals a couple of days ago. The Quinton de Kock-led team had won convincingly by 27 runs and they had come up with a fine batting display after posting 216 runs on the board.
Kyle Mayers, Wiaan Mulder, Quinton de Kock, and Heinrich Klaasen all scored runs at the top of the order whereas Reece Topley and Dwaine Pretorius scalped three and two wickets respectively.
On the other hand, Paarl Royals will need to come up with a collective show. Eoin Morgan played a fighting knock of 64 runs in the previous match but the rest of the batting order failed to put up a fight as they managed 189 runs in the run-chase. Moreover, Lungi Ngidi and Evan Jones took two wickets each for the Paarl Royals.
Thus, the Paarl Royals need to pull up their socks in the batting department as well as in the bowling.
Match Prediction: Durban Super Giants might enter the contest as favorites against Paarl Royals.
