South Africa vs India, 3rd T20I – Stats Preview

With both teams winning one match each in the first two matches, India and South Africa will take on each other in a bid to take a lead in the third T20I of the four-match series at the SuperSport Park, Centurion on Wednesday.

The visitors took the opening game convincingly by 61 runs whereas the hosts bounced back to level the series after winning the second T20I by three wickets. 

India’s bowling was up to the mark in the last game, with Varun Chakravarthy returning with figures of 5-17 to register his best T20I performance. However, India could not put enough runs (124) on the board, which led to their downfall.

Stats Preview: 

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav needs five sixes to complete 150 maximums in T20Is.

Rinku Singh needs one run to complete 500 runs in T20Is.

Hardik Pandya needs a dozen sixes to reach 100 maximums in T20Is.

Axar Patel needs three runs to complete the 500-run mark in T20Is.

David Miller needs 43 runs to complete 2500 runs in the T20I format.

Heinrich Klaasen needs 61 runs to reach the 1000-run mark in T20Is. He also needs three maximums to reach 50 sixes in T20Is.
