India almost has one foot in the semifinal doors and they would want to confirm it when they will take on Zimbabwe in their final clash of the Super 12 stage at the iconic MCG on Sunday. A win will seal the deal for the Rohit Sharma-led and they would want nothing less than that.
We take a look at the current form, head-to-head, players to look out for, and squads of both teams in our match preview.
Current form of India: W L W W L
India has been right on the money in the recent past. KL Rahul was able to get back into form against Bangladesh but the form of Rohit Sharma is still a concern. SKY and Kohli have batted brilliantly for the team while the bowlers have also done a decent job in the ongoing T20I showpiece.
Current form of Zimbabwe: L L W NR W
Zimbabwe had stunned Pakistan by one run earlier in the tournament but since then they have lost against Bangladesh and the Netherlands. The Craig Erine-led team could only manage 117 runs on the board in their previous game and they will need to pull up their socks.
