T20 World Cup 2024: I will regret it – Imad Wasim on his scratchy knock against India

Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim said he will regret his scratchy knock against arch-rivals India in the T20 World Cup 2024 in New York. While chasing 120 runs, Pakistan was in a shoo-in position as they were 57-1 after 10 overs.

Meanwhile, Axar Patel conceded only two runs in the 17th over and bowled three consecutive dot balls against Imad Wasim when the southpaw could not make a connection while trying to play a cut short. The left-hander feels that over was the turning point of the game.

“Usually, under pressure, bowlers give you a ball and there is a margin. But I think I was taking the game deep and I was hoping that a new batsman would come and for that it is virtually impossible.
