The previous season’s finalists Ruby Trichy Warriors will square off against Lyca Kovai Kings in the 15th match of the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League at the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore on Sunday.
Both teams have got off to a poor start as they have managed a solitary win in the three matches they have played and they will need to turn the tables in the upcoming matches.
Lyca Kovai Kings had registered their first win of the tournament in their previous match against Salem Spartans by eight wickets. Balu Surya had scalped three wickets and conceded only 14 runs in his quota of four overs. Furthermore, Suresh Kumar and Sai Sudharsan had scored fine fifties to get their team over the line.
On the other hand, Ruby Trichy Warriors had lost their previous match against defending champions Chepauk Super Gillies by a big margin of 44 runs. Ajay Krishna had scalped three wickets whereas Santosh Shiv had scored a fifty but the rest of the players failed to contribute. Murali Vijay missed the last game due to personal reasons and RTW will want his services back against LKK.
Match Prediction: Ruby Trichy Warriors might enter the contest as favorites against Lyca Kovai Kings.
