West Indies will lock horns against India in the third ODI at the Queen Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad on Wednesday. The visitors have taken an impregnable lead of 2-0 in the series and they will be looking to finish the series on a high.
On the other hand, West Indies have come close to winning these two matches but they have failed to add the finishing touches.
India was rescued by Axar Patel in the previous match as the southpaw scored a match-winning knock of 64 runs off just 35 balls. Furthermore, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, and Sanju Samson all contributed in the run-chase for the tourists. India will want to come up with a more clinical effort in all three departments.
Meanwhile, Shai Hope had scored a fine knock of 115 runs but the right-hander took 135 balls and he would need to score his runs at a better strike rate.
Moreover, Nicholas Pooran scored a fine inning of 74 runs but the rest of the batters also need to contribute. The Windies batters also need to convert their starts into substantial scores.
Match Prediction: India will start as favorites against a bleak West Indies team as the visitors have the momentum with them.
