World Cup 2023: England vs South Africa, Game 20 – Dafanews Match Preview

The defending champions England will be up against South Africa at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in the 20th game of the ongoing World Cup on Saturday. England and South Africa suffered losses against Afghanistan and Netherlands in their respective previous games and they will aim to bounce back strongly.

After comprehensively winning their two matches, the Proteas were stunned by the Dutch by 38 runs. The bowling at the fag end of the innings was a concern whereas they looked under pressure after losing Quinton de Kock early. They have a potent batting unit and they need to deliver for the team.

England was also stunned by Afghanistan in their last game and they need to revive their World Cup campaign. The Jos Buttler-led team has their issues against the spinners and they will be delighted to reach Mumbai, which is expected to produce a good batting track.
