India Super League champions, Atletico De Kolkota has been linked with a move for India national team players Subhasish Bose and Manvir Singh.
The team was crowned Champions of the India Super League on Saturday after beating Chennaiyin 3-1 in the India Super League playoffs Final played in Goa.
The team are well known for their financial prowess and their sending nature in the transfer market and the merger of Mohun Bagan into the team which will start to take effect from next season hasn’t changed that.
The first player on the list, Subhasish Bose, is a former player for Mohun Bagan in 2017 in the league and a native of the Kolkota area and thus he will see a move to Atletico De Kolkota as a homecoming of sorts.
Currently, the player as a deal with Mumbai City that is expected to run till the end of the fifth of this year and his new deal with Atletico De Kolkota is expected to be a long term deal.
For the Blue Tigers, he has made 12 appearances after making his very first appearance in the intercontinental cup in 2018 against Chinese Taipei.
He was also a part of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup where he played every single game in the group stages albeit recently he has been dropped to the bent for India’s latest four matches.
Manager of the national team Igor Stimac has found a preference in Mandar Rao Dessai and Ashique Kuruniyan in the left-back position over him.
Also on the radar of the three-time India Super League champions is Manvir Singh who has a contract with Goa FC but Atletico De Kolkota has sorted his transfer details with the Gaurs.
He has previously featured for I-League Second Division club Mohammedan SC also had a stint with Minerva Punjab before a move Goa.
