Amid his Real Madrid transfer, Kylian Mbappe has revealed his aspiration to play for AC Milan one day. The Frenchman said he has been a huge Milan fan since his childhood days and will love to play for the club.
Mbappe scored 27 goals in 29 matches of Ligue 1 for the Parisians and also provided seven assists and once again played a key role in taking the club to glory. The 25-year-old also picked the best player award in Ligue 1.
“You never know what can happen,” Mbappé told Sky Italia. “When I was a kid I was a fan of Milan. I always said that if I come one day to Italy, I’m going to play for Milan. I watch always the Italian league, every game of Milan.
“I was in Paris. I’m going to have a new club now. I’m really happy with what I have now.”
The talisman said he wants to every single trophy but more importantly he wants give good memories to all the fans, who come to watch him play.
“I have many dreams, to win every trophy possible,” he said. “But now, with the experience, it’s more to give emotion to all the people that watch me, who have followed me since I’m a young guy … I want them to have the feeling that they say when they watch me play, ‘ok, we enjoyed watching Kylian play.’ That is my objective now.”
Mbappe has his sight on the upcoming Euro. France lost the FIFA World Cup final against Argentina in 2022 and they were knocked out in the round of 16 in the previous Euros.
“The dream is always the same, it is to win,” Mbappé said. “We were in the World Cup final two years ago and the normal objective is to go there and win. It’s not going to be easy, there are many teams. We are really hungry and we want more.
“We want to be part of the history of our country. I have one World Cup, the [2020-21] Nations League and I’m missing only the Euro. If I win it, I will have won everything with the national team. I really want to write the history of my national team.”
France open their campaign against Austria on June 17. Netherlands and Poland are the other two teams in Group D.
