Kerala Blasters FC moved to the fifth place in the Hero ISL 2022-23 points table after their 3-1 win over FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi on Monday. The previous season’s runners-up have won three matches, lost as many and they have a total of nine points in their bag.
The reigning champions Hyderabad FC is currently in numero uno position with five wins and one draw. Thus, the Manolo Marquez’s team is still unbeaten in the competition and they have a total of 16 points.
On the other hand, NorthEast United FC are struggling to get going as they are yet to register their first win of the season. The Highlanders have lost all of their six matches so far and they haven’t not even claimed their first point of the season.
Previous season’s League Shield champions Jamshedpur FC have also not got off to a great start as they have managed a solitary win out of the five matches they have played. The Red Miners have lost three and drawn one game, thus they have only four points in their account.
Leading goal-scorer:
Kerala Blasters Ivan Kaliuzhnyi has scored four goals in six matches and he is the leading goal-scorer.
Dimitri Petratos has provided five assists in as many games for ATK Mohun Bagan and he has so far provided most assists in the season.
