The Indian Super League 2023-24 came to a close with Mumbai City FC lifting their second title by beating Mohun Bagan Super Giant by 3-1 in the summit clash.

We take a look at all the key stats of the season (Credits: Official ISL website):

League Shield champions Mohun Bagan SG and ISL Cup winners Mumbai City FC finished the campaign with 48 and 47 points respectively, the highest and second-highest points tally in a single ISL season.

Odisha FC mustered 27 points in 11 home matches in ISL 2023-24, (W8 D3), the most by any team in a single season in the league’s history. Thus, the Kalinga Warriors remained unbeaten at home. Furthermore, Odisha FC scored 27 goals at home, the joint most in a single campaign in the league’s history (tied with FC Goa from the 2019-20 season).

Mohun Bagan SG finished the league stage with 28 points (W9 D1 L1) in 11 away matches, the highest by any team in a single season in ISL history. The 26 goals they scored away from home is the second most by any team in a single season after Mumbai City FC in 2022-23 (32).

Mohun Bagan SG became only the third team to score 50 goals in a single ISL season after their 2-0 win over Odisha FC in the semi-final second leg after Mumbai City FC (56 in 2022-23) and FC Goa (51 in 2019-20).

Mumbai City FC had 16 different goal scorers in the ISL this season, the most for any team in a single campaign.

Odisha FC attempted 11,776 passes and completed 9,561 of them in the 2023-24 ISL season, both single-season highs for any team in the tournament; in fact, their pass accuracy rate of 81.2% is the highest by any team this season and sixth-best by any team in a single season in ISL history.

Hyderabad FC failed to register a single win at home in the ISL 2023-24 season, becoming the first team to go winless at home for a whole season in ISL history. HFC (2023-24 & 2019-20) also became the first side to go multiple seasons without keeping a clean sheet at home in ISL history.
