Indian Super League outfit Kerala Blasters have extended the contract of right-back Sandeep Singh until 2027 ahead of the upcoming season, the club announced on Tuesday. Singh joined the Yellow Tuskers back in 2020 and since then has played 57 matches for the club.
Kerala Blasters FC wrote on their X account, “We’re happy to share that Sandeep Singh has signed on for a contract extension, committing his future to the Club until 2027!”
Singh has consistently delivered the goods for Kerala Blasters and he will look to keep up the good show. The 29-year-old defender played 15 matches in the previous season of the ISL but could not find the back of the net.
On the contract extension, Sporting Director Karolis Skinkys said: “Very pleased to extend Sandeep Singh’s stay with us. He has been a versatile and reliable player in ISL. We’re looking forward to seeing him contribute even more with his experience and continue to be an important part of our team in the coming seasons.”
Sandeep Singh said, “Excited to extend my journey with Kerala Blasters FC. I am grateful for the support from the management and my teammates. I am fully committed to contributing to the team’s success in the coming seasons. Together, we will strive to achieve great things and continue building on the progress we’ve made.
On the other hand, Punjab FC has signed the services of midfielder Princeton Rebello, the club announced on Monday. Princeton played the last two seasons for Odisha FC before playing for FC Goa.
The 25-year-old played 20 matches for Odisha FC in the last season and scored one goal and provided one assist.
