Argentine attacking midfielder Facundo Perera could turn out for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters next season in the 2020-2021 season.
Facundo Perera featured of Cyprus side Apollon Limassol in his last stint but with talks now at an advanced stage with talks the Kochi-based side, and he could be at the club for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season.
The Buenos Aires-born midfielder will be coming in with Europa League experience having featured in the competition for a host of clubs.
Having started his career for Estudiantes in 2006, he later played for PAOK in Greece as well as Gabala and Apollon Limassol.
Similarly, Kerala Blasters are also said to be interested in former Celtic and Wellington Phoenix forward Gary Hooper.
A source who preferred to remain anonymous stated that the club have initiated negotiations with the player.
The striker will be a great addition to Kibu Vicuna side’s Frontline having contributed 13 goals in 21 appearances for Wellington Phoenix in the A-league last season scoring 8 goals and assisting 5 times.
Hooper has played for clubs like Norwich City and Leyton Orient in England, but his silverware success was with Celtic where he won the Scottish Premier League twice.
He made 130 appearances during his stint at Celtic and scored 80 goals and made 30 assists for the Glasgow Side.
The 32-Year-old striker will bring tremendous experience to the side having played in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League amongst many other elite football competitions in Europe.
Meanwhile, ATK Mohun Bagan FC defender Boris Singh has now turned negative for the Coronavirus. The full-back on August 20 was reported to have tested positive and went into quarantine.
However, he will be released from quarantine on Tuesday.
