Mumbai Marines FC extend Partnership with Principal Sponsor DafaNews for another year

MUMBAI, JUNE 2:—Mumbai Marines FC, a leading football club in Mumbai Football, currently playing in MFA Super Premier League is thrilled to announce the extension of its partnership with Dafa News, one of Asia’s leading news portals, for another-year sponsorship deal. This agreement solidifies the ongoing relationship between the two organisations and marks a significant
milestone in their shared pursuit of excellence.

The renewed partnership will see DafaNews continue to serve as the official sponsor of Mumbai Marines FC, with their logo prominently displayed on the front of the team’s jerseys. Both Mumbai Marines FC and DafaNews have enjoyed a fruitful collaboration since their initial partnership began in 2022. Together, they have achieved remarkable success on and offthe field, combining their strengths to elevate the sport and establish a local fanbase that has showered immense love on the club. The extension of this alliance demonstrates the mutual trust and shared values that underpin their continued cooperation.

DafaNews Manager, Mr Joao Coimbra Tavares was full of praise and optimism as he had this to say on the partnership, ” After our fruitful partnership last year the logical decision would always be to renew the partnership. Mumbai Marines FC have been the cream of the crop, with three promotions in three seasons, going from MFA Third Division to MFA Super Premier League. They’ve set high standards for the rest of the clubs in Mumbai Football. Their current season, i.e 2022-23 in the MFA Super Premier League saw them finish fifth in the table. With this sponsorship deal being extended, Mumbai Marines FC will be looking to break the glass ceiling for the 2023-24 season.

Founder and CEO of Mumbai Marines FC, Mr Sachim Karekar shared his excitement on renewing the partnership. Here’s what he had to say, “DafaNews and its support has been great. In a season where we officially launched our Reserve Team, we will be looking towards more avenues of partnerships, and expansion, as we prepare for the 2023-24 MFA Super League season.”

Mr Aakash Malvankar, also the Founder and COO of Mumbai Marines FC had this to say on the renewed partnership, “We are excited for the upcoming season, and we have been continuously building the team, through scouting. This partnership helps in building not just the Main Team, but also other other projects, starting with our Reserve team. We will be announcing one of the biggest trials for the club ever soon as well.”
