Mohun Bagan Super Giant head coach Jose Molina said they will look to execute their plans well to get the desired result against Hyderabad FC at GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium, Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The Mariners were last seen in action on October 19 when they registered a 2-0 win against derby rivals East Bengal FC. On the other hand, Hyderabad FC registered their first win of the season against Mohammedan FC as they won by a convincing margin of 4-0 despite playing away.
Jose Molina stated in the pre-match press conference, “It’s true that we’ve had a long gap between our last match and the upcoming one, but that is the reality because of the troubles with AFC. The team is working well every day in training and we’ll be well-prepared for the next game.
“Hyderabad had a great game against Mohammedan SC, I’ve told you before that it’s never easy to win a match in the ISL and the Hyderabad match will be a tough match. We’ll be ready to fight and work hard through the 90 minutes to do our best. If we can do that, we expect to win. We have to execute our plans well to win the match,” Jose Molina further added.
Molina admitted that it will be a challenge for them to go past the Nawabs but they want to stick to their game plan.
Jose Molina claimed: “We have our style to play. I don’t want to change it, not now or ever, that’s what we’re trying to do. We try to start dominating matches from the start in our style.
“That is what we’ll try against Hyderabad FC, nothing more than that. I respect them because they are fighting and playing well, but we have to do our job, play how we are playing and try to have success in the box, score goals, not concede and come back with three points,” he further opined.
