Adrenaline fueled action awaits
This 2nd edition of the UPB Fight Club in its Season 2, promises to be full of exciting action from some of India’s up and coming professional boxers.
This event puts in contention some young prospects going at each other to establish their supremacy in the said weight category. And then there is a record builder, looking to keep his record unblemished and a Champion looking for his comeback after a well battled loss overseas. All in all, an enticing line-up of bouts, promising an exciting, action-packed event.
The main fight over 8 rounds should be a cracker as it’s a rematch of what was a very close mixed decision win for the WBC India Featherweight Champion Satnam Singh over Varun Phartyal earlier. Satnam is coming back after his loss to Bilel Dib in Australia in the IBO Super Featherweight Title in July. He is eager to get back to winning ways but against Varun, the task can be anything but easy. An enticing Main Card for the Fans in the offing here!
The other match that appears very evenly matched is Suresh Pasham vs Vishwas Lahori, both having fought 5 and 6 bouts respectively. Vishwas would want to keep his winning streak alive on UPB but against Suresh, it won’t be easy, who’s got both his wins with TKO.
The bout between Abhishek Pratap Singh and Manish Ahlawat promises to be a firecracker as both are extremely aggressive Boxers and go-for-it with the 1st Bell. It would be interesting to see if both adopt an aggressive approach, for which they’re known or would
pace the fight in order to see each other out initially. But 6 Rounds won’t provide a lot of time for that either and we might end up witnessing a very no-holds-barred contest. Heli Tana Tara is an upcoming talent and has been a stand-out in the Amateur circuit, who is going up against a slightly more experienced Harish, who is coming on the back of two draws. This being the first bout of the event which could set the stage for a thrilling afternoon.
Saurabh has been unbeaten so far and would want to keep that record intact. Manjeet had shown promise in his previous outing on the UPB platform and did show last time that he is no pushover and that he also has a good chin, something that would help him in this bout. All in all, this is another great card of fights that has a mix of prospects and champions / leaders in the making. This card has some quality talent on display and I am certain that the fans would love to watch the Fights and perhaps witness some upcoming champion Indian professional boxers in the making.
