UPB unleashes a Cradle of Talent in this Edition!

UPB Season 3, Edition 8 – Hungry Prospects line-up the Fight Card in this one – a plethora of upcoming talent will be on display, who the fans can warm up to!

In keeping with the long-standing tradition of uncovering and unleashing top level talents on the Professional Boxing scene in this part of the world, the latest Edition of UPB Fight Club is hosting 9 (nine) Bouts, with 8 (eight) of them seeing young and upcoming prospects exhibit their talent to the global audience. A showcase for the next Indian Idol in Pro-Boxing is on the cards!

The Main Fight of the evening is between Saurabh Kumar and Vishal Singh Solanki in the Featherweight division. This is more of a salvation Fight for Saurabh especially after his loss in China late last year and the sub-par performance in the previous event in Mumbai, which resulted in a Draw. He needs a quality win under his belt after two disappointing performances whilst Vishal Solanki is looking for his first win and would want to make it difficult for Saurabh.

The Lightweight Bout between Jitendra Thakur and Priyaranjan Nayak is one of the Fights of the evening. Jitendra’s precision meets Ranjan’s power in what promises to be a thrilling clash, with both fighters boasting impressive starts to their careers, the audience can expect a tactical battle of wits and skill.

Amit Sunder Pal and Vishal Kumar go at each other in the Super Middleweight division. Amit’s determination meets Vishal’s resilience in this matchup, with both fighters looking to make a mark, the fans can expect a gritty battle, filled with heart and determination as both need a win to open their success account on the circuit

The Featherweight clash between Ayush Singh and Harsh Saroha is expected to be a belter. Ayush is coming from a KO loss and win respectively whilst Harsh had squared off in a gritty draw last month is quite eager to open his account. In a battle of contrasting styles, Ayush’s grit will meet Harsh’s resilience. Both fighters have much to prove, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter that could sway the momentum in either direction.

The Muskan Verma and Poonam Super Flyweight clash is the only Female Bout of the evening however it will be anything but a distraction. Muskan is anxious to win after her previous Fight with Blessing was declared an NC (No Contest) due to a technical error whilst Poonam would be very eager to avenge her shock-loss in June last year at the City of Joy Edition of UPB Fight Club in Kolkata. The audience can expect fireworks in this Bout and it would definitely be top Fight.

Atul Kumar and Hitesh Khasa go head-to-head in this Middleweight clash. Atul’s quest for redemption clashes with Hitesh’s hunger for dominance, something which he exhibited in his debut bout against Binish Rai from Nepal last month. With both fighters seeking to make a statement, expect a high-intensity battle with the potential for explosive exchanges in this one.

Vishal Kumar and Vishal Malik would battle it out in this Featherweight Bout. Kumar had a comprehensive win in his last outing and before that held Adil, a seasoned veteran to a draw in Kolkata. Malik steps into the Ring as a State-level Champion in this weight class and with everything to gain and nothing to lose, making this matchup a potential show-stealer filled with raw talent and determination.

The Super Middleweight Bout between Harmanpreet Singh and Pushpender Rathi is the third one in the heavier weight classes for the evening. Singh’s aggressive style contrasts with Rathi’s calculated approach, promising an enthralling showdown. With both fighters relatively early in their professional careers, this bout could be a pivotal moment for either prospect.

Kicking off the event in the Super Featherweight division, Anubhav Sharma and Nitin Tanwar, both debutants, enter the ring with everything to prove. Anubhav, a State and National level Champion from Punjab will want to prove his supremacy over Nitin, another state and National level Champion from Haryana, making it a State-vs-State opener. With raw talent and ambition driving them forward, expect a captivating display of skill and determination from these rising stars right at the start of the evening.

As the event draws near, anticipation builds for what promises to be an evening of unforgettable moments and exhilarating action in the world of pro-boxing. Fans can expect nothing less than a sheer spectacle as these warriors step into the Ring to test their mettle and chase glory.
