The World No. 2 Rafael Nadal has made and broken many records in his illustrious career. Nadal recently won his 13th French Open title after dismantling World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the final in straight sets. This was the 20th Grand Slam title win for Nadal, which helped him equal Roger Federer’s tally. The Spaniard also clinched his 100th win at the Roland Garros.
Meanwhile, after continuing his domination in the French Open, Nadal is now all set to participate in the forthcoming Rolex Paris Masters 2020, which will begin from October 31.
Nadal has won 999 singles matches in the ATP tour thus far in his glorious career. Thus, one more win at the upcoming tourney will help him write his name in the history books.
If Nadal manages to win one more game, he will become the second player after Roger Federer to win 1000 matches in the ATP tour. Thus, Nadal is all set to join the 1000 elite club.
In fact, almost 10% of Nadal’s wins have come in the French Open. Nadal is the undisputed king of clay and he also became the first player in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam after winning the same 15 years ago.
Nadal is currently 34 years and there is no doubt that he has got another three-four years of Tennis left in him as he is fit as a fiddle. The Spaniard has played a total of 28 Grand slam finals in his illustrious career.
Nadal will look to carry his form going in the upcoming matches and he is going to be a force to reckon with. Nadal has also played a total of 1200 matches in his career.
