Hong Kong will lock horns against the United Arab Emirates in the final match of the Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1), Al Amerat on Wednesday. Both of these teams have a chance of qualifying for the main event and they will aim to come with their best.
Hong Kong has won both of its matches against Singapore and Kuwait. They had beaten Singapore by eight runs while they defeated Kuwait convincingly by eight wickets.
On the other hand, United Aram Emirates lost their first match of the qualifier against Kuwait by one wicket. However, they won comprehensively against Singapore by 47 runs.
Thus, this match will be like the final and whosoever will win this contest will qualify for the main event. Kuwait is unlikely to qualify as they have a negative Net Run Rate of -0.421.
The team which will win this contest will join India and Pakistan in Group A of the Asia Cup.
Match Prediction: Hong Kong might enter the contest as favorites against the United Arab Emirates.
