The LA Lakers are dearly missing the services of their two talisman players – Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Davis was sidelined due to Achilles’ Tendon injury whereas the Lakers suffered the huge blow when James was ruled out for over a month due to an ankle injury, which he suffered while playing against Atlanta Hawks.
James has played an instrumental role in the success of his team as he has been at his best. Before getting injured, LeBron had been averaging 25.4 points, 7.9 assists, and 7.9 rebounds in the 41 matches he played.
It is natural that James is missing what he does the best in his life – that is to play the game he loves. Being sidelined for the past two weeks due to an ankle injury, LeBron James took to Twitter revealing how he missed playing the game.
He recently tweeted on Twitter, “Woke up out of my sleep to use the restroom and thought to myself…. MAN, I WANNA HOOP! MISS IT SO MUCH! Ok anyways back to sleep I go.”
Meanwhile, there is no doubt that the LA Lakers are dearly missing the services of their talisman, who had played a key role in taking his team to glory in the previous season. James has been one of the most consistent players in the history of the league and he is still going strong despite being 36-year old.
The legendary player has shown that he still has a lot of fuel left in his tank and he will be raring to go once he fully recuperates from his ankle injury.
The LA Lakers currently have a 31-19 record and they have slipped to the fifth position in the standings in the absence of their two key players. The Lakers will next play against Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.
