India vs Bangladesh, 2nd Test – Dafanews Match Preview

After winning the opening Test by a huge margin of 280 runs, India will take on Bangladesh at the Green Park, Kanpur from Friday onwards in the second match of the series. The visitors could only manage 149 runs on the board in the first innings and the poor batting show led to their downfall.

None of the Tigers batters could go past the 35-run mark in decent batting conditions and they will need to pull up their socks. We look at the current form, head-to-head, players to look out for, and squads of both teams in our match preview.

India was able to tick the right boxes in the opening Test as they bounced back from tricky situations. Ravichandran Ashwin shined with both bat and ball as he scored a fantastic knock of 113 runs in the first innings whereas he returned with 6-88 in the second essay.

Current form of Bangladesh: L W W L L 

Bangladesh will be disappointed with their performance in the opening Test. They could not take advantage when they were ahead in the game and allowed India to bounce back. Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusingha has revealed that all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is available for selection.

Players to watch out for: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Jasprit Bumrah will hold the key for India.
