Chennai Super Kings will lock horns against Punjab Kings in the 41st match of the ongoing season of IPL 2023 at their home ground of MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Sunday in a day game. CSK is currently in third place with five wins in eight matches whereas PBKS are in sixth place with four wins in seven games.

We look at the current form, head-to-head, players to look out for, and squads of both teams in our match preview.

Current form for CSK: L W W W L

In their last five matches, CSK’s two losses have come against Rajasthan Royals. In their previous match against RR, CSK were not up to the mark with the ball as they conceded 202 runs and then their batters, who have done a good job so far, couldn’t get going.

Current form for PBKS: W L W L L

It has been a roller-coaster season for Punjab Kings as they have failed to carry the winning impetus. With Shikhar Dhawan missing, Sam Curran has done a decent job for the franchise as a leader. Their middle order has also delivered the goods and they will need to be at their best against CSK.
