Mumbai Indians will play against Rajasthan Royals in the 42nd match of the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Sunday. Mumbai has not been at their absolute best as they have managed only three wins in seven matches.
MI has lost their last two matches and they will be looking to get back to the winning ways. In their last game against the reigning champions Gujarat Titans, MI suffered a huge loss of 55 runs.
They conceded 207 runs against GT and then could only manage 152 runs in the run-chase. Thus, they will need to come up with a better performance with both bat and ball against RR.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals registered a thumping win against Chennai Super Kings in their previous match. RR posted 202 runs on the board against CSK after Yashasvi Jaiswal played a blistering knock of 77 runs.
Furthermore, Adam Zampa scalped three wickets for the Sanju Samson-led to help them take the numero uno position in the points table.
Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorites against Mumbai Indians.
