The previous season’s champions Chennai Super Kings will square off against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 22nd match of IPL 2024 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Monday. KKR has hit the ground running in the ongoing season, winning all of their three matches whereas CSK has got off to a mixed start, winning two and losing as many.
KKR posted a huge score of 272 runs against Delhi Capitals in the previous game with Sunil Narine doing the damage at the top of the order and they bagged a resounding win of 106 runs. On the other hand, CSK could only manage 165 runs on the board against SRH on a slow pitch as the batters failed to find their timing.
