The reigning champions England will begin their title defense against the previous edition’s runners-up New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on October 5 in the 2023 World Cup. England recently defeated the Kiwis by 3-1 in a four-match ODI series and would want to carry the winning impetus against the Kane Williamson-led team.

All of England’s matches will be day-night contests, barring their second match against Bangladesh. Furthermore, they will play all of their nine round-robin matches at nine different venues.
